Wilton House in Guisborough are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fabulous team. Located on the edge of The North Yorkshire Moors National Park with multiple beaches close by and the vibrant cities of Newcastle and Durham on our doorstep. This is the setting where our team pride themselves on offering exceptional care and treat our patients with skill and compassion.
We are fortunate to have a strong working relationship with our neighbouring practices and enjoy having the support and expert advice from the Clinical Director at Stokesley Vets, Gillian Wormald which has been invaluable to us as we operate our vet practice.
Meet Our Team
We have an amazing team of extremely experienced Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants who are on hand to help whenever needed. We have a well-equipped surgery; with operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory to help you provide an excellent standard of care.
We consist of 2 Vets, and 5 RVN's, 1 VCA, and a student nurse, alongside our Practice Manager and strong reception team. There is a brilliant mix of skills within the team with one VS currently on the IVC Graduate Program, and one VS is doing a certificate at present. The nursing team are very experienced and have a good consult dairy with clinics growing.

Our standard rota is a 4-day week, to enable a good work life balance, and a Saturday Rota of 1:3 for half a day.
Our Practice
Located on the edge of the Cleveland hills and close to the beach, this location allows fantastic days off to explore its surroundings, but only a small train journey into bigger cities for those nights with friends.
We are a first opinion practice with a varied case load, we have the usual first opinion equipment, a good size kennel area with separate cat ward, large theatre and prep area. We work with our neighbouring Teesside practices in Stokesley and Ingelby Barwick so an excellent support network of Vets and nurses are available, along with our experienced Practice Director.
Growing the practice and providing excellent client care is our priority, supporting our happy staff is a must.
