Registered Nurse (Dayshift) - Making a Difference in the Lives of Others
Situated in the heart of Port Glasgow, our care home provides residential and nursing care for up to 51 residents.
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering clinical excellence and holistic care. As part of our exceptional team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our residents and creating a vibrant community where they can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Craft Personalized Care Plans: Collaborate with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement care plans that meet individual needs.
* Ensure Accuracy: Maintain precise and legal care documentation, observing daily interactions and conditions.
* Lead with Confidence: Organize and guide your team, ensuring seamless delivery of top-notch care.
* Facilitate Seamless Transitions: Oversee shift handovers, promoting clear communication and continuity of care.
* Monitor Health: Perform routine observations, managing specific health needs and prioritizing resident safety.
* Administer Medications: Safely manage and administer medications, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build Relationships: Foster strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Promote Independence: Support residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy while providing assistance as needed.
* Act on Feedback: Respond to team input, prioritizing resident health and well-being.
* Champion Respect: Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
* Encourage Engagement: Facilitate social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
* Prioritize Safety: Maintain a vigilant eye on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment.
* Support Nutrition: Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
About You
* You're a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
* Care home experience is a plus, but we value your passion for care and dedication to improving lives.
* You possess excellent communication skills, connecting with people from all walks of life with warmth, understanding, and empathy.
We offer a competitive salary of £20.00 per hour, plus benefits including pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave.
