Job Title: Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant Duties
Salary: Teaching Assistant Scale 3 point 5 £15,187 (Pro rata actual salary) Midday Assistant Scale 1 point 2 £2,734 (Pro rata actual Salary)
Hours: Teaching Assistant 26.5 Hours per week (5.25 per day) Midday Assistant 5 Hours per week (1 hour per day)
Working Pattern: Term time only
Contract type: Permanent

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 whose roles will be to support pupils within a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 mainstream classroom setting. This will involve supporting the class teacher with administration tasks, learning activities with groups of pupils and where necessary 1-1 support. Knowledge of SEND and a range of primary-based interventions would be an advantage but not essential.
