Rate of Pay: £20.19 per Hour (Umbrella)
Summary:
As a Caseworker in the Refugee, Resettlement & Migration Service, you will provide essential support to refugee and migrant individuals and families across West Sussex. This dynamic role involves working directly with people from diverse backgrounds who have experienced upheaval and trauma, helping them to integrate and thrive within local communities. You will collaborate closely with partners, volunteers, and community organisations to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
Responsibilities:
* Provide wraparound support to refugees and migrants throughout their relocation journey.
* Coordinate with partners, volunteers, and communities to support integration and independence.
* Conduct case management, home visits, and welfare checks.
* Maintain accurate case notes and ensure data is recorded in line with GDPR.
* Contribute to wider community agendas such as safeguarding and community safety.
Qualifications:
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience in refugee resettlement, migration, or social care.
Experience:
* Experience coordinating with partners and volunteers in a resettlement or similar field.
* Experience in detailed casework, managing caseloads, and accurate record-keeping.
* Knowledge of refugee and migration-related issues, safeguarding, and community engagement.
* Comfortable using translation services to ensure effective communication.
