Team Manager- Open Mental Health

We are recruiting a Team Manager to work across our Open Mental health services- Localities, Crisis Safe Space and Family Safeguarding.
The overarching purpose of the Team Manager is to coordinate and steer the provision of OMH services within the locality, in collaboration with Somerset Foundation Trust (SFT), partners and the Local Authority (LA), by:
* bringing people, organisations and resources together to deliver a seamless and holistic offering of mental health and wellbeing support for individuals across Somerset and:
* collaborating with partners on the strategic development of OMH services within their locality; working with the other Locality Leads, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), other SFT teams, the LA and the OMH Lead Accountable Body (LAB) team to ensure a consistent approach across the county.
Open Mental Health is a Somerset alliance of voluntary sector organisations and Somerset Foundation Trust. Our shared ambition is to ensure that people living with mental health needs and challenges get the right support at the right time. Working together, we support people to live a full life by enabling access to specialist mental health services, housing support, debt and employment advice, volunteering opportunities and community activities, to help support and improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
About the role
We are committed to working with a recovery-based and trauma-informed approach and supporting people to meet their individual needs. The successful candidate will be;
* Providing reflective line management and caseload management to staff
* Linking with managers from partner organisations to effectively run the services to a high standard
* Reporting to the lead accountable body on KPIs and outcomes
* Contributing to the culture and community of the wider organisation
* Managing service budgets with the finance team
* Managing service risk registers
* The role is 37hrs per week Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening work required due to some services operating in the evenings and at weekends
* Flexible working can be considered
* Temporary or Secondment opportunity Fixed-Term (until 31st March 2026)
* Involves some travel across Somerset, but mainly based in Bridgwater and hybrid working from home
