Reed Brighton is delighted to be partnering with a renowned confectionary giant who are seeking a Business Development Merchandiser for their Brighton and surrounding areas territory. This is a full-time, permanent, field-based role where a company vehicle is provided. Monday to Friday (no weekends).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Territory Management: Call on grocery multiples within your territory, focusing on stock management, shelf management, promotional compliance, and relationship management.
2. Promotional Activity: Ensure all promotional activities within accounts are correct, including POS.
3. Target Achievement: Achieve added value targets, promotional, and planogram compliance as agreed by the national account team.
4. Planogram Compliance: Ensure all stores comply with centrally agreed planograms.
5. Journey Planning: Compile and work to journey plans according to appropriate call sequences.
6. Field Sales Administration: Manage field sales administration tasks efficiently.
7. In-Store Visibility: Deliver outstanding premium visibility in-store through relationship building and influencing in-store contacts/management.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a similar role.
2. Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Excellent organisational, numerical and administrative skills.
5. A valid driver’s license.
