Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor - opportunity with one of the most well-established private practices in Birmingham. This is a privately owned, owner-managed Construction Consultancy that can boast several decades of experience in professional practice. Over this time, they have evolved into a highly dynamic multi-disciplinary construction consultancy offering both Building Consultancy as well as Project Management and Quantity Surveying services and maintained an excellent client base with repeat business still a high factor in their workload.
As this has recently grown, they are now looking for a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor to join their Birmingham office. They have a broad range of work in areas such as dilapidations, party wall and defect analysis, as well as project management, contract administration, writing specifications, and schedules of work.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct dilapidations and defect analysis.
2. Assist in project management and contract administration.
3. Write specifications and schedules of work.
The successful candidate will hold a good, recent degree in Building Surveying with previous industry experience in Building Surveying, either completed as a placement year as an undergraduate or in a graduate role after completion of your degree. You must also already be based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre, and you must have a full UK driving license as the role will involve some travel.
