Locum Practice Nurse Location: Dartford, Kent Rate: up to £30ph DOE MCG Healthcare have a number of ad hoc and long term locum positions available for Practice Nurses in GP practices across Kent and we are specifically seeking Practice Nurses who are within commutable distance of Dartford. Main duties of the job Providing assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice Provide nursing treatments to patients in participation with general practitioners or independently to agreed protocols. Provide general and specific health screenings to the practice patients (within agreed protocols) with referral to general practitioners as necessary. Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments with referral to GPs as necessary; Advise patients on general health care and minor ailments with referral to GPs as necessary Phlebotomy Dressings Infection Control Job responsibilities Qualified practice nurse 2 years minimum experience working in General Practice Possess treatment room skills.
