We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and functionality of all facilities within our prestigious five-star hotel. You will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel systems, equipment, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence, you will ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless experience in an environment that is not only luxurious but impeccably well-maintained. As a key part of the hotel’s operations, you will work closely with other departments to guarantee that every aspect of the hotel is operating at its best, all while adhering to the standards expected of a five-star venue.
A Glimpse of the Scenes You’ll Be Starring In:
1. Oversee Facility Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring that every part of the hotel remains in perfect working order and aesthetically pleasing to guests.
2. Preventive Maintenance Mastery: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, to minimize downtime and ensure a flawless guest experience.
3. Team Leadership & Training: Lead, train, and inspire a team of maintenance staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform their roles to the highest standards and respond quickly to any maintenance issues.
4. Guest Experience Focus: Ensure that any guest-facing maintenance issues are handled with urgency and discretion, addressing guest complaints or concerns swiftly and professionally to maintain an exceptional experience.
5. Emergency Repairs & Quick Responses: Oversee emergency repairs and quick responses to any unexpected issues that may arise, such as plumbing or electrical failures, to minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations.
6. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with housekeeping, front office, and engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding maintenance needs, from room repairs to facility upgrades.
7. Budget & Inventory Management: Manage the maintenance department’s budget, including ordering supplies, controlling costs, and ensuring that the hotel has all necessary materials to maintain a high standard of service.
8. Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to local health and safety regulations, hotel standards, and environmental policies. Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that all systems meet required standards of safety and compliance.
9. Operational Excellence: Oversee the smooth functioning of all systems and equipment within the hotel, including elevators, lighting, and security systems, ensuring they are all maintained to the highest level of operational efficiency.
10. Project Management & Renovations: Manage renovation and upgrade projects, working with contractors, architects, and hotel management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the hotel’s high standards of quality.
11. Sustainability & Energy Efficiency: Implement sustainable practices in maintenance operations, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental responsibility in line with the hotel’s sustainability goals.
