Job Summary - The Green Futures Solutions (GFS) initiative at the University of Exeter require a 3-month Green Futures Solutions Support Officer to help research and map the legislative landscape for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) that will be hitting European and British businesses over the coming years. You will research and summarise the legislative requirements for organisations within the UK and Europe, and the interoperability of reporting against multiple regulations specifically within Environmental, Social and Governance disclosures from within the UK and EU. This information will help Green Futures Solutions better shape our products and services to specific business drivers and requirements. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers full time hours in a 3-month role from the end of April 2025. This role offers hybrid working where you can work from Streatham Campus, Exeter and remotely.
About You – You should be a graduate with a degree in Business, Politics or policy, Sustainability or similar. You should have good attention to detail with high levels of accuracy, be comfortable working with and reviewing policy and legislative documents, and be succinct with an ability to present information simply and clearly. You should be a self-starter, be comfortable asking questions and be well-organised. A good understanding of how to navigate legislative landscapes is advantageous.
