If you're looking for a hands-on finance role where you can take ownership of key processes and progress to Finance Manager within 2-3 years, this could be the right opportunity. This private equity-backed telecoms business is growing rapidly and as a Management Accountant you’ll play a key role in month-end reporting, financial analysis, and business partnering. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to acquisitions and commercial decision-making while being part of a close-knit team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: Leading the month-end management accounts process across all group entities Completing payroll journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations within a one-week timeframe Reconciling two software records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies Providing financial analysis and variance reporting, identifying key drivers Managing fortnightly supplier pay runs and getting sign-off from the Finance Director Performing daily bank reconciliations and coordinating with outsourced bookkeeping services Supporting audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant Business partnering with other business areas, providing financial insights and tracking KPIs Liaising with outsourced providers to resolve finance-related queries Assisting the Financial Controller in producing regular reports What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Assistant Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Financial Accountant To be AAT level 4 qualified or actively studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA A thorough and methodical approach, with the ability to take ownership of processes The ambition to progress to Finance Manager A collaborative and adaptable mindset, able to communicate financial information effectively Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables What you will get: Study support for ACCA / CIMA A clear path to become Finance Manager within 3 years 23 days annual leave bank holidays your birthday off Free onsite parking Exposure to acquisitions and business growth strategies If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
