The team at McGregor Boyall Procurement are working with a UK wide construction business who require a specialist for ongoing project work. The role could suit an individual who has worked as a Procurement Lead or Category Buyer.
The successful Procurement lead who is at the top of their game and has a passion for delivering on interesting construction programmes. We require an individual who is adept at building strong business relationships and providing best value solutions for sustainable procurement.
Whilst acting as a close business partner with senior stakeholders, you will be instrumental in developing greenfield procurement strategies, policies and processes. Our client will want you to fully utilise your supply chain management skills to enhance strong collaboration between the suppliers and cross-departmental business units.
Further responsibilities will include the following areas.
Duties Include
1. Assist the team with market analysis/cost estimates/vendor performance management.
2. Have complete responsibility and accountability for the Procurement process of subcontractors.
3. In charge of the provision of management information and reports in accordance with project requirements.
4. Responsible for services and materials in line with corporate project procurement strategy.
