Purpose of Role To assist line leads and production management in all aspects of daily production tasks within Nantwich Cheese Company and Beat Food Group to ensure its continued success. Main Responsibilities Operations. - Assisting in the packing of all food products produced by Nantwich Cheese. - Operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity. - Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed. - Minimising production costs. - Maximising production line efficiency - Minimising wastage. Quality, Food Safety and Hygiene - Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety. - Complying with company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene. - Monitoring and recording quality and food safety performance where applicable. Health and Safety - Working in a safe manner with due consideration for the personal Health and Safety and that of co-workers at all times. Learning and Development - Attending Company Training courses/sessions which will support your continuous personal development to ensure our manufacturing capability keeps pace with or exceeds our customer requirements. It will cover; food quality, food safety, health & safety and other aspects of competence required by legislation. - Demonstrating competence in trained factory tasks - Following information and instruction to the best of your ability.
