Lead Strategic Sales Initiatives and Drive Operational Excellence
Anchor, a leader in the housing and property sector, is seeking an experienced Head of Sales and Operations to join our Sales and Marketing team. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape sales strategies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure operational excellence across our new build and resale programs.
As a key member of our senior management team, you’ll bridge the gap between the Director of Sales and the wider sales team, driving performance, optimising processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you will:
* Partner with the Director of Sales to set budgets and ambitious sales targets.
* Oversee sales operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless transactions.
* Lead and develop a talented team, including Sales Managers and support staff.
* Optimise the end-to-end sales process using Salesforce CRM.
* Ensure a customer-focused journey from initial enquiry to completion.
* Deputise for the Director and contribute to strategic decision-making.
* Collaborate across departments to align sales with marketing and development goals.
What we’re looking for:
* Extensive experience in a senior sales operations or management role in housing or property.
* A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing budgets.
* Strong leadership skills with experience inspiring and developing teams.
* Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales performance analytics.
* Deep knowledge of sales processes, compliance, and regulations (e.g., Homes England CFG).
* Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
* Desirable: Experience in shared ownership or retirement sectors.
