We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join a reputable primary school in Sunderland. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational and personal development of children and young adults with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils experiencing challenges in their lessons, exhibiting complex behaviours, or requiring additional assistance due to their SEN requirements, primarily on a one-to-one basis.

Collaborate effectively with class teachers to develop and implement engaging learning activities that address individual student needs.

Supervise pupils during break and lunchtime periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

Possession of an enhanced DBS check (preferably registered on the Update Service; assistance with processing a new application is available if required).

A recognised qualification in childcare or education is advantageous but not mandatory.
