This is a unique role where you are a key member of the Employment Excellence team but also work closely with the People Experience team. People experience is a group of colleagues who strive to create and deliver slick processes for every employee journey there is. As HR4HR People partner your interactions with the HR community will ensure they feel valued, heard and given the right resources and support they need during the most important moments during their careers whilst ensuring Employees and Line Managers understand the partnership model that has been put in place with Technology & Una as a first point of contact for any queries. You will work with various teams within the HR network to enable a smooth end-to-end employee experience for employees' day-to-day HR needs. Using a client-facing, customer care; problem solving, and analytical approach, you will ensure tasks are actioned to the highest possible standard. You will be the primary contact for all line managers and employees in the UK HR community (about 250 colleagues). As a key member of the Employment Excellence Team, you will also be involved in setting the employment framework for all UK based employees, building the capability of the HR community in the UK, mainly in the area of operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES The People Partner will be able to directly make a positive impact on each key stage of an employee's lifecycle and be the key person to positively influence and shape the employee experience at times which are critical in their career. Key to the smooth running of HR Operations within the UK business, working with Employees, Line Managers, HRBPs and other business partners within the function you are partnering, you will: Own the end-to-end employee cycle – partnering line managers and acting as a single point of contact for employees in your function area, through key career moments such as onboarding, role moves locally and globally, career growth, parental leave, time off, exit, etc. (working with our Hub in Cairo to deliver the transactions) Provide coaching and support to line managers in employee experience. Support Local HR Strategic People Agenda: Work with HRBPs and Leaders to create and deliver project plans for managing any change programmes and reorganisations. As People Partner, specifically, you will play a key role leading any change programme end-to-end, ensuring meaningful consultation takes place, whilst providing guidance and support on process and policy. Take a proactive approach to employee relations, reviewing data and spotting any employee relations trends, recommending solutions, and coaching Line Managers to take any actions you feel are the right steps to take/ tackle problems before they grow. Guide Leaders and HRBPs in relation to HR policies and procedures (such as performance improvement, grievances, absence management etc), coaching them through the process and ensuring they have a good understanding of the legal requirements. Our role with ER can be very hands-on, writing scripts, creating outcome letters, etc. to support cases through to completion. Work side-by-side with teams across HR (HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition etc), providing support and subject matter expertise to recommend appropriate actions to address queries or problems. Therefore, you’ll have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships with trust & confidence, as well as having the ability to influence.
