Job Title:
Deputy Manager- Children's Residential
Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity in our homes across the West Midlands for a Deputy Manager to join our team in upholding our standards of care, fostering growth, and inspiring positive change.
We are a dedicated team committed to providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young people. Our focus is on promoting their well-being, helping them achieve their potential and ensuring their voices are heard.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Residential Manager, ensuring the home aligns with our values and standards in their absence.
2. Provide guidance and leadership to the team, aiding in their professional development and individual growth.
3. Oversee colleague management, including appraisals, supervision and training adherence.
4. Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments and ensure all necessary training is completed.
5. Financial Management of the home.
6. Quality Assurance.
7. Upholding professional Care Practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. We require a Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification for this role.
2. You will need at least 1 years' experience of Senior Support Work in a Children's Residential setting.
