We are currently recruiting for specialist roles within: Infrastructure Engineering, Test Engineering and Software Engineering. We will ask you to make preferences when you apply for the Programme. You can find more information about each area by clicking here.
As part of the Technology Development Programme, you’ll develop skills in different work situations, contributing to the development and improvement of processes, products and services in your department.
We’ll need you to build rewarding relationships across the organisation and externally to understand customer needs, resolve problems and support the delivery of the Society blueprint.
You’ll also attend development workshops and complete any set qualifications and training aligned to achieve your best.
What you’ll be doing
Our Technology Development Programme commences on 1st September 2025. You’ll be asked to select the specialism which interests you most when applying.
Whichever specialism you choose in line with your skills, interests, and potential, we’ll provide you with a foundation in IT. You could be working on any of the below:
* Dealing with security opportunities and challenges presented by Open Banking, Cloud-based services and new technologies.
* Improving your scripting and coding skills or learning from scratch to continually improve our service and build new applications in software engineering.
* Shaping and creating seamless and meaningful user experiences through service and/or product design.
* Writing code, enhancing user experience, dealing with live incidents, supporting ongoing innovation in Infrastructure Engineering and IT Operations.
You’ll attend an induction and our Technology Development Programme Academy, where you’ll receive upfront training in core IT skills with a focus on specific technical skills to enable you to thrive in your role.
You’ll receive an individual learning pathway when you join your team to ensure you’re continuously developing your skills.
Following successful completion of the programme, and with the right drive and attitude, there is the opportunity to progress into a more senior role.
