The Role
Are you passionate about supporting a dynamic, international workforce? As a key member of our Reward Team, the Global Mobility Partner plays a crucial role in centralizing and managing comprehensive support for our globally mobile employees and international assignees. You’ll be at the heart of our global projects, ensuring seamless adherence to group policies, standards, and legal requirements.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of global mobility policies, standards, and procedures across the James Fisher & Sons Group to ensure consistent and full application of program delivery.
* Liaise with advisors and internal stakeholders to build, centralize, and scale global mobility programs, delivering exceptional service while ensuring adherence to existing and changing laws and legislation.
* Coordinate and support internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax, social security, immigration, and employment law implications for complex cross-border and international employment scenarios.
* Support the end-to-end assignment life cycle, including providing cost projections, hypothetical gross-to-net calculations, tax equalization, relocation management service coordination, and time tracking.
* Coordinate, manage, and track employer-level obligations associated with the expatriate population, including but not limited to social security and immigration applications/expiry, shadow/split payroll, and Short-Term Business Visitor (STBV) reporting.
* Support business leads with cost estimates for new business tenders/potential acquisitions that are holistic for the purpose of global mobility on costs.
* Monitor standards and procedure effectiveness and identify opportunities for program improvement.
* Support the development of communication and resources to educate internal partners on areas of key compliance and JFS Group global mobility programs.
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service level agreements, contract fees, adherence to budgets, and escalate concerns.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
* Extensive experience in end-to-end international mobility program management is essential.
* Strong project and process management experience – essential.
* Excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to think creatively to effectively translate and communicate complicated information to suit any audience and situation – essential.
* Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills – essential.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix organization is preferred.
* Confident and seasoned professional able to effectively communicate and liaise with stakeholders at all levels to thoroughly understand requirements and identify challenges to result in pragmatic solutions – essential.
