Job description
The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Assistant.
The postholder will assist the research team to formulate and characterise lipid nanoparticles for nucleic acid/drug delivery.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:
* Obtained a degree or equivalent in Pharmacy
* At least 1 year of recent relevant research experience in liposome formulation and characterisation using microfluidics
* Some practical experience of applying specialist skills and techniques required for the role.
* Sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within own area

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
