Druck Limited has a vacancy for an Electrical Engineer to join the Aerospace Engineering Team, which consists of a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers including Mechanical, Electronic and System engineers. The team develops products to support a growing Aerospace business through both Custom Product Opportunities (CPO) and New Product Introductions (NPI).
The team designs innovative pressure sensors supporting projects from cradle to grave, working closely with all other functions, such as sourcing, advanced manufacturing and quality, as well as with our production facilities.
As the Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Electronic integration of pressure sensing components to be used in a wide range of Aerospace applications
2. Design Change initiation and implementation in accordance with our business procedures
3. Manufacturing technical support and provide solutions for production related problems
4. High standard of documentation for evidence of conformity and technical explanation
5. Reviewing design specifications and requirements capture
6. Supporting external customers, internal sales and marketing functions
7. Continually develop and advance internal operating procedures
8. Analysis of complex data to satisfy project targets and customer needs
9. Generation of Documentation to support Design goals
10. Verification & Validation of Customer requirements, to include Analysis, Test and Similarity to satisfy needs
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will be:
1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering
2. Experience with schematic design, capture and circuit simulation tools
3. Experience of design and test for EMC
4. Familiarity with IPC standards for PCB design and fabrication
5. Knowledge of industry standards such as DO-160, Mil Std 810, AS9100 & AS9145
6. Knowledge or working experience of MRP systems such as SAP
7. Proven ability in low power analogue and mixed signal circuit analysis
8. Be comfortable working in an environment with high expectations for quality, on-time delivery and deadlines
9. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and team members
10. Have excellent attention to detail
