Empowering Learning is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join primary schools in Ashton as Teaching Assistants and Support Staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop key skills, and take the first step towards a career in education or child development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across different subjects
Providing 1:1 or small group support to children who need extra help with learning
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Encouraging and motivating children to engage in learning activities
Supporting children with SEN, additional needs, or social and emotional development
Helping with extracurricular activities, including sports, literacy, or numeracy interventionsIdeal Candidate:
A graduate in Psychology, English, Maths, Sports Science, or a related subject
Passionate about working with children and making a difference in education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable, patient, and able to work well in a team
Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring) is desirable
