Quality Control Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician at a leading specialty chemicals manufacturer in Lancashire, within their R&D function, contributing to maintaining high standards of quality and certification. This role involves ensuring raw materials and finished products meet exacting quality requirements and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily quality control processes in operational and laboratory settings.
* Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using specified methods and record results accurately in SAP.
* Recommend corrective actions to ensure products meet specifications.
* Conduct investigative testing for non-conforming products, goods returns, and alternative materials.
* Maintain laboratory standards, equipment, and cleanliness.
* Prepare and update QC specifications, test procedures, and related documentation.
* Support lean methodologies and data-driven decision-making for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Chemistry or equivalent industry experience in QC, R&D, or manufacturing.
* Previous experience in a laboratory role, preferably in a quality chemicals environment.
* Strong problem-solving, organisational, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work methodically and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
