S&P supports our Merchandisers by making sure that the right stock is in the right place across our UK high street, Lipsy, our international franchise stores and for our online customers. They do all of this whilst working to modernise our solutions onto new technologies and redesigning our complex legacy systems into modern new architecture. In retail today, few areas of expertise are as important as this. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Technology Business Analyst to join our innovative team. This role will involve everything from developing cutting-edge technology features and practices, to playing a major role in the analysis, design, development and implementation of high-profile projects. About the Role You’ll use your business knowledge and experience to help us continually improve our processes and working practices, actively enabling the department to become as efficient and effective as it can be. You'll report directly to the Project Manager and you will work with the business to assess current and future processes, with a view to capturing detailed requirements, identifying solution options and providing pragmatic balanced recommendations. You will: Work with cross-functional systems teams to ensure that the systems requirements are documented and that you understand the impact on other teams. Work with development teams to translate business operational and functional requirements. Produce relevant documentation. Research, analyse and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most applicable and cost effective solutions. Assist others performing a project's test phase and also preparation and content of training. About you: You’ll be supported by the other Business Analysts in the team while you get up to speed on what the role entails, but your business knowledge and contacts will be a key asset to helping you build the role. A strong communicator and enjoy building effective relationships at all levels. A team player who shows initiative, drive and passion. Possess strong research and problem solving skills with the ability to analyse existing systems for enhancements and support resolutions. Working knowledge of Agile practises. Demonstrable experience of implementing BA practises, creating documentation and using a variety of techniques would be an advantage.
