Salary: SCP 31 £40,476 to SCP 36 £45,718 pa Career Grade (Bar at £41,511 & £43,693) (Inclusive of Retention Payments, Subject to Review March 2028)
This is a time of exciting change in South Tyneside and we are looking to recruit four highly skilled and experienced Social Workers to work within our busy MASH team (multi-safeguarding hub). The successful candidate must be registered with SW England and must have at least two years post qualifying direct experience of front line safeguarding of children.
The MASH is an integrated single point of access in South Tyneside providing multi-agency triage and assessment of safeguarding enquiries and requests for support relating to children and their families.
As a Social Worker in the MASH, you will play a key role in the daily screening and response to referrals about children living in the South Tyneside area, alongside a well-established team of multi-agency partners.
