About The Role
As a Resort Safety Controller team member you will need to deal with a wide range of challenges which will require you to combine your customer service skills with your security knowledge. You will need to ensure that our guests feel safe and secure throughout their stay at Butlin's by operating the Resort Safety control room, ensuring that SIA operatives are deployed around the Resort, responding to incidents and requests, whilst ensuring that we maintain all levels of security across the Resort. Key Responsibilities The roles and responsibilities include being the main point of contact for the resort.Good communication is vital together with a fair approach to resolving any problems that may occur. Whether engaging directly with our guests, using positive customer service skills, or when working digitally or over voice communication methods. Helping guests with enquiries demonstrating a problem-solving attitude to ensure the safety for all our guests and team. You will be based at a central control point, monitoring radio communications, answering phones for Resort Safety (Security) matters, monitoring and dispatching people to deal with Fire Alarm activations, and monitoring CCTV systems. You will be required to use a PC with a host of computer systems, so must be a proficient PC operator. Finally reporting irregularities and incidents and completing the relevant reports Please note: This role requires availability to work nighttime and flexible hours. About You Previous experience in a security control role would be desirable, however it is essential that you hold a level 2 CCTV/Public Space Surveillance qualification and a valid SIA Licence. A Door Supervisor Licence and DVLA Car Licence would be advantageous too.
