Start Date: Immediate About the Role: We are seeking two experienced Building Surveyors to join a Worcestershire-based housing association on a temporary contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with expertise in responsive repairs and maintenance, working within the social housing sector to ensure high-quality property standards and effective repairs management. Key Responsibilities: ? Responsive Repairs & Maintenance Conduct inspections, diagnose defects, and specify works for housing stock. ? Contractor & Supplier Management Liaise with contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs. ? Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitor work standards, ensuring compliance with building regulations and health & safety policies. ? Resident & Stakeholder Liaison Engage with tenants and internal teams to resolve repair issues efficiently. ? Budget & Cost Control Ensure value-for-money solutions for responsive repair works. What Were Looking For: ? Proven experience in building surveying, responsive repairs, or maintenance within social housing. ? Strong knowledge of housing legislation, building regulations, and health & safety compliance. ? Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ? Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB, RICS accreditation desirable). Why Join Us? ?
