Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring sustainability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems across various building types. You will be responsible for contributing to electrical design across a range of our client's projects, working closely with the electrical team. Your duties will cover design and delivery of electrical design deliverables including drawings, specifications, and schedules. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Working in a multidisciplinary environment to design buildings that maximise value while minimising environmental impact.
* Production of detailed design calculations for all aspects of electrical design.
* Production of specifications.
* Production of design notes and reports.
* Production of design drawings from conception through to detailed design.
* Play an active role in every stage of our client's projects from feasibility to completion across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, health, and mixed-use developments.
What you'll need to succeed
* Master's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant subject.
* Working towards Chartered status with CIBSE or IET.
* Proficient with Trimble/Amtech, Dialux, and/or other electrical design software.
* Familiar with BIM processes using Revit, Revitzo, or other recognized industry platforms.
* Experience in designing HV, LV, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, security/access control, electrical design for renewable energy systems, and earthing across a range of projects.
