The Role:
The Teacher of English will:
* Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 teaching if appropriate.
* Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching resources.
* Inspire students to achieve their full potential in English and cultivate a passion for reading and writing.
* Support the wider aims and ethos of the school and the MAT.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes in English, or show strong potential to do so.
* Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach across the secondary range.
* Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
* Show a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and a commitment to their success.
* Be reflective, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the development of the department and the school as a whole.
