About The Role
Waldon Telecom is an essential infrastructure services provider to the mobile telecommunication sector in the UK. We work on behalf of large mobile network operators to acquire, design, and construct mobile telecommunication base stations across the country.
We are looking for an Estates Coordinator to be part of our Estates team across several projects and clients. Projects include renewing existing lease agreements, carrying out code valuations, negotiation of heads of terms & rent reviews, specialist advice to our wider Property Team across the whole of the UK. What will you be doing?
As the Estates Coordinator you will assist the Estates team with the activities of the business unit.
You are likely to work 3 days at home and 2 days in our West Byfleet, Surrey OR Diseworth, Derby office.
What will your key responsibilities be?
* Gathering all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
* Maintaining document control, database management, tracking project activities and team communication.
* Assisting project team and team lead in strategic project meetings and follow up with meeting notes.
* Scheduling project follow up meetings as needed.
* Developing and reviewing project status and reports.
* Organising internal and external resources for project deliverables.
* Creating and compiling milestone/progress reports from the database on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
* Liaising with external suppliers, landlords, landlord agents and other external bodies on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
* Raising, monitoring, tracking, and receiving purchase orders as required by the Estates Lead.
* Issuing and tracking work instructions to external suppliers and contractors, using the Waldon Telecom framework contracts and based on the latest KPI performance indicators.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Previous experience of Project and Programme Co-ordination.
* Previous experience within Telecoms.
* Previous experience within a Site Acquisition or Estates department.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to present at senior level.
* Excellent I.T. and database skills (MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Access, Sitetracker).
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines in a pressurised, target driven environment, whilst maintaining a customer focused ethos.
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment to achieve programme targets.
* Energetic and self-motivated.
* Ability to adapt to change.
