Embark on a rewarding opportunity with our client, a dynamic and well-travelled individual in his 40s, who has made a remarkable physical recovery after an acquired brain injury in 2018. We are looking for exceptional Personal Assistants to provide cognitive support and help maintain his independence, blending a passion for physical fitness, current affairs, the arts, and a love for family dogs. Building quick rapport with the client will be facilitated by sharing these interests. Ideally degree-educated in a relevant professional field, you should possess ample experience working with adults with brain injuries and the resilience to navigate associated challenges. Your ability to connect confidently yet respectfully with the client is crucial. This role offers the opportunity to work in a comfortable home, family, and community environment, providing a well-defined space for various activities. To ensure the client achieves optimal outcomes, it's imperative that you can achieve yours. You'll receive support through a well-defined role profile, Line Manager support, and collaboration with a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) offering professional oversight. Effective communication, including formal and informal feedback, is paramount. Your capacity to interpret, understand, and deliver clinical objectives while prioritising the client's values is key. Must-haves for this role include a valid driver's license, proficiency in English (as a first language or without perceivable language barriers), a commitment to continuous development, and the willingness to embrace new opportunities for skill acquisition.
