You'll take full ownership of the procurement journey-from market research and tender creation to awarding contracts and handing them over to the client for ongoing management. What you'll be doing: Leading procurement support, handling tenders from initiation to contract award. Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and company policies for strategic contracts. Driving supplier relationship management, encouraging innovation, improvements, and benefits. Collaborating with clients and operational managers to ensure effective contract delivery. Providing regular reports on KPIs, SLAs, and contract performance. Proactively planning and managing workload, identifying efficiency opportunities. Advising on contract and supplier management, resolving issues and ensuring alignment with company processes. Monitoring contracts, track progress, and lead contract management meetings. What you'll bring: Professional qualification in Procurement (e.g., CIPS) or related discipline (Contract Management, Supply Chain) or working towards. Skilled in procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management. It would be great if you had: Strong commercial awareness with in-depth knowledge of UK Public Procurement policies, procedures, and compliance. Proficient in Procurement ERP systems, eSourcing tools, MS Office, and experienced in working with government organisations and third-party suppliers. Effective communicator with expertise in market trends, commodities, and guiding teams and clients on procurement compliance.
