In this position, you'll take the lead on audit engagements, guide and develop junior staff, and manage a varied portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both from the office and on-site at client locations. Responsibilities: Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager. Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups. Identify opportunities for cross-selling services. Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns. Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations. Communicate workload progress to management and plan for efficient task completion. Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Train and oversee junior staff members. Prepare management accounts. Requirements: Competent in audit, accounting and tax software. ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent (OR studying towards) Full clean drivers licence. Able to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills. Familiar with accounting software e.
