Daily Rate: £90-£105

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

LTF Recruitment is looking for a nurturing and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Key Stage Two team at a two-form entry Junior School in Kings Norton. This role offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting two children in Year 3 with SEN and SEMH needs, including:
Assisting one child with Autism, potential ADHD, and significant communication challenges.
Supporting the second child with SEMH needs through play-based activities and meaningful learning breaks.
Working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored classroom support.
Delivering targeted interventions, such as Speech and Language therapy, phonics sessions, and activities to develop gross and fine motor skills.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working 2:1 with children with SEN and SEMH (e.g., ASD, Speech & Language Needs).
Is skilled in managing behaviour using effective behavioural strategies.
Has knowledge of the UK Key Stage One and Two curriculum.
Holds TA qualifications or a relevant degree.
Can work effectively as part of a team.
