What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing a high quality and comprehensive BMS service, including the day-to-day operation and continued support and development of our clients Building Energy Management Systems.
2. Diagnosing heating problems using the BEMS, and rectification of any faults.
3. Evaluating energy saving initiatives and supporting the development of strategies to reduce the client’s energy consumption.
4. Investigating high energy consumption and identifying areas of excessive wastage.
5. Promoting the Energy Management Team and its services throughout the current portfolio of clients and when required, with other organisations.
6. To assist the rest of the team in promoting and developing the highest quality of energy management standards with particular emphasis on value-for-money and cost-in-use, whilst assisting in ensuring compliance with client requirements, current legislation and Codes of Practice.
7. To assist the Energy Team Leader and colleagues in encouraging and participating in the development of improved working methods and developing close and effective working relationships with other departments to maximise the benefits of in-house professional services and the integrated use of computer technology in the energy management process.
Your experience and skills will include.
8. Hold a valid UK driving license
9. HNC/HND in Electrical engineering or equivalent/similar.
10. Experience of Trend and preferably some knowledge of other BEMS manufacturers.
11. Working knowledge of System Link software.
12. Ability to work on own initiative or within a team to tight timescales.
13. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
14. Experience of working in or directly with schools.
