Job Title: Fire & Security Service / Faults Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience)
Earnings Potential: Up to £55,000 + company vehicle
Location: Watford / North London
Position Overview:
Join a rapidly growing company in the fire detection and security systems industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Security Service Engineer to work in a flexible, friendly, and supportive team environment, servicing a variety of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems across Watford & North London.
Job Purpose:
As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and performing reactive work on various security systems. Experience in Intruder and/or Fire systems is essential for this role.
Desirable Skills:
1. Servicing and fault-finding on Intruder alarms
2. Access control and door entry systems
3. Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems is advantageous
4. Experience with IP and Analogue CCTV systems, including basic networking skills
5. Familiarity with Dual Com monitoring and other communication devices
6. Proficiency in conventional and wireless Intruder Alarm systems
7. Knowledge of major brands of panels and app-based systems
8. Maintenance of emergency lighting
9. Understanding of NSI codes of practice and current industry standards
About You:
1. Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and time-management abilities.
2. A full UK driving license is essential.
3. Candidates should ideally reside in the Watford or North London area.

Additional Information:
1. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 in 9 weeks on-call rotation (additional payment for on-call hours).
2. The role requires working at heights and can be physically demanding.
3. NSSA Security Screening is a requirement for this role.
