Band 6 Cellular Therapies Clinical Nurse Specialist
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced haematology nurse to join our cellular therapies team based at the QE hospital.
We are looking for someone wishing to develop CNS and pathway co-ordination skills at band 6 to cover maternity leave. You will be part of a small and supportive team co-ordinating therapies and delivering CNS support to haematology patients receiving a range of treatments including autologous transplant, CAR-T, BITES and other novel therapies. You will have close relationships with our consultants, stem cell laboratory, and pharmacy team and be well supported by the lead nurse for cellular therapies and Haematology Matron.
Our forward-thinking team will support you to develop clinical and management skills required for the role, to develop research and teaching skills, and to attend and present at local and national forums. You'll be welcomed into the wider haematology team and get to know our CNS and ward teams, supporting junior team members to develop their own skills and knowledge. This is a rapidly expanding service so this is an exciting time to join us!
