Area Chef Essex Based Red Cat Pub Company Upto £17 per hour with Full-Time Hours We're in the market for a new superstar Area Chef to join our central team at Red Cat Pub Company. The perfect Area Chef will report directly into the Executive Chef team and will assist in the overall kitchen management of up to 42 nationwide pubs, restaurants, and hotels. At Red Cat Pub Company, we're fully focused on delivering an awesome standard of fresh & seasonal British gastro-pub food, and the menus differ depending on the different pubs and restaurants, meaning no two sites/menus are ever the same. The ideal candidate will be based around the Essex area and will be predominantly tasked with traveling between the Southern-based sites and assisting in their kitchen operations. It is worth noting, however, that occasional nationwide travel will be required. The ideal Area Chef will assist in managing senior Chef's, launching new menu's and providing training & tuition to more junior chef's, amongst several other responsibilities. This is a hands-on role, so the Area Chef will be expected to be in kitchen's, assisting with service, and occasionally covering Head Chef holidays and vacancies where required. A driving license and a car is essential, given the remote locations of some of the properties. In return, the successful applicant can expect a generous pay package of upto £17 per hour (with full time hours) plus benefits. Travel and accomodation costs (if required) are all covered by the company too.
