Business Development Manager - Telecoms
This is an interesting role working 50% in the office (Cheshire based) and 50% on the road visiting customers.
Salary: Basic 28K (if candidates have industry experience) PLUS uncapped commission and car allowance.
Duties of the Business Development Manager role:
1. Create new business opportunities.
2. Implement targeted marketing campaigns to strategic markets.
3. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
4. Book and attend regular customer meetings that result in profitable relationships.
5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the sales team.
6. Present to and negotiate with director level.
7. Achieve sales targets.
8. Take personal responsibility for development and learning of skills and market/product knowledge.
Necessary Experience of the Business Development Manager:
1. B2B sales experience ideally within telecoms or IT.
2. Demonstrable knowledge of Cloud, Voice, Data, IT, and Connectivity solutions.
3. Proven track record in sales - achieving and exceeding targets.
4. Market knowledge of the telecoms & IT industry.
5. Confident and capable of seeking out and securing new business.
6. Networking and negotiating skills.
7. Experience of solution building and presenting solutions at board level.
8. Account management capabilities.
9. Ability to work effectively autonomously.
10. Flexibility to attend meetings when and where necessary.
11. Full Driving licence.
