* An empowerer – providing strategic advice that enables others to develop and deliver best practice internal communications.
* A strategist – working smart to plan and prioritise our work so it has maximum impact.
This important role is at the heart of the organisation – working hand in glove with business leads, senior leaders and private offices across the Department to deliver superb communications.
You will:
* Lead the creation, design, implementation and evaluation of compelling internal communication campaigns, content and engagement events to help DBT become an outstanding organisation where people are proud to work, and ensure our colleagues are a global network of engaged ambassadors.
* Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and to teams across DBT, delivering high quality communication in a timely, appropriate and consistent manner.
* Be a trusted partner to areas of the business, advising on the best strategic comms approach to celebrate their successes and build a forward look.
* Deliver best practice creative content that engages our diverse audience.
* Review own and others content to ensure it is well written, accurate and free from mistakes.
* Evaluate the success of your campaign work, seeking new ways to draw people in through knowledge of emerging trends in internal communication.
* Plan and deliver major all staff events.
* Balance the needs of multiple high-level projects and events.
