Our client are a leading, independent, insurance and risk management advisor.
They are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their dynamic and expanding Commercial insurance team.
About the Role:
As a key player in the team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, introducers and partners.
This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
You'll thrive in networking environments, actively building your portfolio, and identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, consistently exceeding targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring outstanding service and retention.
* Leverage your knowledge of a diverse range of insurance products to maximize upselling opportunities.
* Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, AGMs, and industry expos, using your interpersonal skills to generate leads and enhance market presence.
* Negotiate effectively with Underwriters and Insurers to secure the best possible terms for clients.
* Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and team collaboration to contribute to overall business success.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in business development and sales, ideally within the insurance industry however this is not essential.
* A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
* Strong networking skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A client-focused approach, ensuring the best solutions and service at all times.
