Job summary THEATRES, CRITICAL CARE, ANAESTHETICS & PAIN DIRECTORATE BAND 7 CLINICAL LEAD NURSE - CRITICAL CARE PERMANENT 37.5 hours We are looking for a highly motivated Critical Care practitioner with vision and an aptitude for change to join our existing senior team. The successful post holder should have a sufficient Critical Care experience in an adult Critical Care setting and be in receipt of a recognised post graduate academic award in Critical Care. A proactive approach to change and evidence of service improvement will be an advantage. Main duties of the job We are looking to strengthen our Lead Nurse team in Critical Care by appointing senior nurses with Critical Care experience to effectively lead and co-ordinate Critical Care over the 24 hour period, 7 days a week. You will effectively manage the Critical Care unit at the Dudley Group, providing clinical expertise and leadership, whilst ensuring safe staffing, clinical co-ordination of patient pathways, patient safety and staff development. Critical Care at the Dudley Group comprises of the equivalent of 15 level 3 beds.
