About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Classroom Assistant to support learners aged 4 to 18 with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning challenges.
This is a part-time, term-time only role, based in a specialist setting that offers outstanding care and tailored learning for its pupils.
As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced teachers and SEN professionals to provide individualised support, help manage classroom routines, and build positive relationships with pupils. You will assist with classroom activities, sensory programmes, personal care when required, and help pupils achieve their educational and personal development goals.
A Supportive and Specialist Environment
The school is set in a modern, purpose-built environment surrounded by open countryside, creating a calm and therapeutic atmosphere.
With small class sizes, high staff-to-pupil ratios, and access to a range of therapies, the setting offers a truly holistic approach to education. Staff are valued, supported and encouraged to grow, with a strong focus on teamwork and shared success.
Work-Life Balance and Flexibility
The role runs from 8.30am to 4.00pm, with slightly different finish times depending on the day, offering a balanced working pattern.
The part-time nature of the role makes it ideal for those seeking flexibility while still wanting to be part of a meaningful and impactful educational environment.
