Job Profile Summary
To play a significant part in, and to provide comprehensive support to the North American Property Treaty team.
Job Description
* To underwrite (within authority) the North American Cat XL, Risk XL and Pro Rata account.
* To assist in providing a full and comprehensive service to brokers.
* Attend Client Meetings.
* Assist in the business planning process.
* Assist in the GWP process.
* Help in the preparation of Outwards Reinsurance information.
* Writing up business and checking computer entries.
* Peer Review of risks as allocated under the peer review selection criteria and responsibility matrix as set out in the Underwriting Manual.
Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all policies and procedures and ensure that due regard is paid to providing good customer outcomes and the fair treatment of customers.
Manage the relationships with Customers, Agents and Service Providers:
* Advise, assist and service customers on insurance and risk matters to promote customers’ satisfaction;
* Complete all required annual product review assessments to agreed timescales with approvals obtained and recorded.
* Follow all Chaucer Group Product Governance processes in the UCM and obtain appropriate approvals.
Skills and Competencies
* Knowledge of Lloyd's Market - North American Property Treaty
* Existing broker/client relations
* Mathematics, data and analytical skills
* Global Macro Economics
Education
* ACII qualified (or equivalent)
