Reporting directly to the Cognition Lead, this role is integral to advancing our neuro-inclusion initiatives by researching and developing occupational support tools and strategies. These support strategies encompass techniques, tools, assistive technology, and reasonable adjustments, tailored for diverse neurotypes and cognitive domains.
This role involves conducting self-led research and collaboration with neurodiversity professionals to align these strategies with expert recommendations, ensuring they are practical and effective for use by individual employees, managers, HR teams, and neuro-inclusion champions. This work will contribute to creating an inclusive workplace environment that supports the diverse needs of all employees.
This is a contractor role, working on a flexible, part-time basis,approximately 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Self-led research into effective support strategies and reasonable adjustments relevant for specific neuro-types (e.g. ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
* Utilising generative AI tools to craft resources into formats relevant for our diverse audience (written, e-learning resources)
* Ensuring delivery of resources are professional and of a standard expected from SaaS software platforms
* Iterating resources based on user feedback and user testing
* Ensuring resources align with style and language guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
* Training or experience relevant to neurodiversity such as occupational health psychology, clinical psychology, or cognitive psychology
* High written language skills including sub-editing
* Awareness of cognitive psychology (this will be supported by Science Team)
* Research skills relating to scientific literature and publications from professional bodies
