Job summary
Clive Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, and forward-thinking Operational Support Officer (OSO) to support the existing Management Team. This is a new role that will be vital in ensuring our administrative functions remain well supported.
Main duties of the job
1. Records Management
2. Insurance/Medical Report Management
3. GP2GP Management
4. Registration Workflow Management
5. Reception and Administrative Support
6. Scanning/Filing of Post/Electronic Post as required
7. Premises Support and Checks
8. Provide cover for Reception as required
9. Assist in data required to enable, monitor, report, and audit QOF
10. Provide support for wider roles

Clive Medical Practice is a rural general practice with a very good local reputation. We are a vital part of our countryside community providing a friendly, efficient, and caring service.
Despite the challenges in recent years to general practice and the wider NHS, we have maintained high standards of patient care. Courtesy, respect, and continuity are important to us and our patients.
We have four GPs, two experienced nurses, a GPA, HCA, and dispensary and reception teams. All have excellent knowledge of services in our community used to meet our patients' needs.
We are part of the Shropshire Rural Alliance PCN, welcoming additional roles staff to assist in home visits, musculoskeletal conditions, and extended hours.
Job Responsibilities
The role will entail direct responsibilities in key areas, along with backup support and assistance in some vital admin and patient record areas.
This is an exciting post which will play a fundamental part in the smooth running of the Practice and will provide the post holder with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills within a supportive and proactive team.
The post holder will work very closely in support of the Practice Manager whilst also being responsible for routine tasks around EMIS patient system.
