About the team
Our Personal Injury team specialises in handling a range of complex, life changing and catastrophic injury claims including brain and spinal injury, amputee claims and fatal accidents. We have represented many clients who have sustained life-changing injuries and work proactively to ensure our clients get the rehabilitation and compensation needed to cover costs of equipment care and therapy at the earliest possible opportunity.
About the role
We are seeking an established personal injury partner to join our Manchester serious injury practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-value and complex cases across a range of specialisms whilst overseeing an existing book of business. The successful candidate will also play a key role in driving business development initiatives to maintain a strong caseload and will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing profitability of the practice.
The role will lead a team of associates and paralegals, providing appropriate supervision and mentoring to ensure the highest standard of legal practice and client care. They will also work closely with the Heads of Department and wider partners across the Leigh Day network to contribute to the strategic direction of our personal injury practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced partner looking to make a lateral move into a well-established and highly regarded team. Leigh Day’s personal injury practice, ranked as Band 1 by Legal 500 and Band 2 by Chambers in the North West, has seen significant growth in recent years and is known for its genuinely supportive and collaborative culture.
