The Role and Position
As a Technical Director, you will:
Define and implement technical excellence across a high-profile EMEA portfolio.
Lead engineering strategy, ensuring best-in-class delivery and operational resilience.
Engage directly with C-suite and senior stakeholders within leading hyperscale and colocation clients.
Manage and mentor a team of experienced Technical Managers, fostering talent and ensuring technical growth.
Champion continuous improvement, compliance, and risk management across all operations.
Work alongside senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, and technical advancement in the business.
Act as the primary technical authority, ensuring that engineering operations meet the highest industry standards.
Spearhead innovation and value engineering initiatives, ensuring maximum ROI and operational efficiency.
Represent the organisation as a thought leader, building strong relationships and engaging in industry networks.Could this be You??
To be successful, you must be an influential, hands-on leader with a proven background in critical technical environments, ideally within data centres.
5 to 10+ years of experience in senior technical leadership within mission-critical environments (data centres, critical engineering, etc.).
Expertise in HV & LV electrical systems, MEP infrastructure, and critical resilience strategies.
Strong commercial awareness with experience in contractual management and financial acumen.
Ability to lead complex technical projects, risk management strategies, and operational efficiencies.
Proven experience in team leadership, with the ability to develop high-performing managers.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into operational execution.
Strong client engagement skills—comfortable liaising at board level with blue-chip clients.
