Job Title: Junior Project Manager – Furniture & Fit Out Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum Location: Manchester Role overview As our new Junior Project Manager, you’ll be dealing with high quality furniture and fit out projects for commercial spaces. You will assist our Project Manager in planning the delivery and installation of furniture and fitout projects to completion. The ideal person will have the ability to organise and oversee projects, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner and communicating effectively throughout the project lifecycle with all key stakeholders. You will coordinate and liaised with multiple teams team onsite to achieve the best results and manage our customers’ expectations. Managing projects ranging in value up to circa £1,000,000, the ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and good organisational skills. Key Responsibilities include Assisting the project manager, working closely with our installation team Liaising internally and externally regularly with our customers, sales, design & estimate teams Plan and schedule furniture deliveries Co-ordinate internal resources, fitters, contractors and third party suppliers Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders. Evaluate risk management, including writing RAMS to minimize project risks. Establish, manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Attend pre contract and client meetings where required Conduct site surveys to ensure smooth transition of product delivery Contact clients to deal with queries and resolve any issues Report and escalate issues to management as needed. The ideal applicant will be of graduate calibre, with experience in a Junior Project Manager position, running or being involved in project delivery within a fitout or furniture environment Experience in any commercial fit out environment or knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Full UK driving license and vehicle Well presented, confident, and motivated individual Highly organised with good attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment The role will be based out of our Manchester showroom, with occasional visits to our head office on the Wirral.
