Job title: Maintenance Manager-Test and Commissioning
Location: Barrow in Furness-on site
Salary: £60,350+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and manage the Ships Equipment Test & Commissioning Tradal Support (T&C) teams to meet contract requirements, schedules, and specifications
* Develop team capabilities, ensuring resources are skilled, optimised, and aligned with project needs
* Oversee the integration, delivery, and compliance of solutions while managing technical risks, planning and reviewing T&C activities to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and reduce waste
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure maintenance and commissioning activities meet specifications and regulatory standards
* Act as Deputy Review Group Chair and participate in review groups, ensuring adherence to processes and regulations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* MBA/MSc/Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience of managing maintenance plans
* Previous Team Leader/ management Experience
Desirable:
* Site Licence and authorisation compliance experience
* Typically, an Incorporated Engineer working towards Chartership & member of the relevant institute

The Test and Commissioning Team:
Here you will have the opportunity to oversee and lead a maintenance team of 15 people comprising both staff and manual workers, ensuring the effective execution of strategy, governance, and delivery for the maintenance of ship-fit equipment throughout the build lifecycle.
You’ll play a key role in the broader Test & Commissioning (T&C) program, contributing to a multi-disciplinary effort involving commissioning activities for platform assemblies, equipment, and software products. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of Stakeholders and have great networking opportunities across the business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
